HANDMADE FIGURINES

When looking for inspirational ideas for my creations, I use my own past experiences, as well as my love of Melbourne City, the 'Art Capital of Australia', to do this. I visit Melbourne CBD all the time to observe people and gather ideas.

My vision is simple - Inclusiveness, diversity and equality. I want to include all types of figurines in my artwork because all people are unique and different. I have been abroad for over 12 years, and so this also gives me more ideas and inspiration about the characters I am creating. It took me years to understand this new country, the new language and trying to assimilate, so I can relate to the concept of 'trying to fit in'. Embracing diversity and inclusiveness, my figurines include: First Nations, the LGBTQIA+ community, the workforce (such as baristas; the Melbourne coffee scene here is among the best in the world!), to name a few. The list will grow. Finally, each figurine will be beautifully framed, which looks stunning on walls and on office tables, which makes them the perfect gift. I hope you all support the work I do.
